To all you Buster’s tow truck drivers, I know you are only doing your job. BUT MAN I do not want to be you when you tell you son or daughter OR ANYONE for that fact what you do.
Stranger: “So what do you do for a living?”
Buster’s Tow Truck Driver: ” I’m a tow truck driver.”
Stranger: ” Oh that’s cool that’s great that you help people.”
Busters Tow Truck Driver: “Oh no, I’m not that kind of tow truck driver. I work for the city of Vancouver. I’m the one that angers people and makes them frustrated!”
Stranger: “Oh, DIE please!”
Word of warning to all. Getting towed is NOT fun, so PLEASE PLEASE when you parking downtown WALK the WHOLE block to look for signs watch out for the DREAD 3pm to 6pm NO PARKING zones. NO MATTER how small or quiet the street is PLEASE look for them. For me it was on Haro off Robson it was 3:30 and there was other cars parked “illegally” so I didn’t think twice to park there plugged the meter…and BAM when I come back my car was gone, F*CK it was a 3pm to 6pm no parking zone.”

$10 — CAB fare
$62.50 — Busters towing fee…thanks alot
$50– City of Vancouver parking ticket

So moral of the story to ensure you always are having fun. When parking in the city of Vancouver always look for the parking signs.

True Confections is a busy cozy cafe style dessert place that provides a variety of cake desserts, and yes they have 3 types of milk to choose to drink, if you are like me who likes to have milk with there dessert 
, but they also provide the usual assortment of teas and alcoholic beverages in case you need to warm up or need a little liquid courage to ask out the cutie from the next table ;-p.
In summary True Confections is a great place for a small group of people together and chat over some great dessert.

I saw this while I was in Smart Mouth the old Luna Cafe in Gastown. December 3rd 2009! ONE DAY ONLY BE THERE!!! BE THERE!!!!! (Think back in the day when you were a kid, the old Monster Truck commericals :-p). Good way to check out some of the many stores in the Gastown area, and maybe score some deals! I know I’ll be checking it out…maybe grab another pair of jeans from Dutil.
